There are two trees that are yet still being eaten from in today’s time… the first is the Fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and the other is the fruit from the Tree of Life. Both are available and there is a constant battle to consume the fruit of one or the other…The First tree’s fruit represents a carnal lifestyle or words, activities and decisions that are not a part of God’s plan for your life, they don’t consider what Jesus has said nor what he demonstrated in spirit and truth. The second tree is Jesus Christ which produces the  fruit of the Spirit as seen in Galatians 5:22 which is Love,  Joy, peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Gentleness and Self Control. Sounds pretty Good Huh?! Ironically, when I used to ask my Dad how to tell the difference between a spirit led person and carnal led person he would say you will know a TREE by the fruit it bears…just wait long enough…because whatever the root is the fruit is! Now I admit, there are times when even a good tree will have a rotten piece of fruit, a branch may even be set on fire, broken off or something may be pulling at those same roots…BUT don’t most trees or people go through or experience the same things…and like nature there is always a grace period before any infection sets in… Gods grace is sufficient for you too…so Be encouraged…keep producing things of the spirit, and even when there is temptation to go to the negative tree, or to step out of the will of God…STAND firm and continue as the scripture says to be PLANTED by the rivers of living water
