Mark 8:36-37 (KJV)
36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Caution people of God, Caution! I sense that a few old doctrines will soon try to resurface in this new dispensation…specifically prosperity Gospel and Word of Faith teachings….remember positive affirmations and monetary gain are not signs that God is with you. If God sustained you despite your disobedience or blessed you even in financial lack that means he was merciful and gave you another chance to implement what is in His word. The Billionaires Club (Vanity) will soon sweep this nation and many people will start to have the “appearance of doing well”…but don’t lose focus and be blinded with greed, carnal motivation and materialism. Everyone can seek God when the times are tough but we need to seek him MORE when times get better.
Joseph knew how to handle good times. He knew how to invest, he reconciled with his family, he helped others in need and was forgiving. He didn’t gloat, he wasn’t self righteous or had a “see I told you so” attitude (you know, stick it to all my haters mindset). By all means reap, be fruitful and multiply! Just make sure you are reflecting what that scripture in Gen 1:26-28 truly means which is to reproduce the image and likeness of God and not the temporary values of this world.
