There are many things we never asked to experience in our lives. Certain things that can crush the ordinary individual you endured. The pain that could have killed others you fed on as fuel for the next level…this has enabled you to make it despite the circumstances and despite the odds against you…however there is more that God wants from you. More? Yes more because there is still something left that He wants to pull up and thats the anchor from within. You need to realize that where you want to go in life requires that you set sail on the seas of change…or else what has made you stronger will soon turn into a stronghold…gripping on what happened to you and consequently living life defensively which seems wise in the beginning, but if not faced, can turn into an shell of isolation that not only protects you from enemies but also those who “love you”.

You need to realize that the anchor YOU put in place will never allow you to form intimate relationships for fear of being exposed or being violated again. Now you say I dont trust anyone but God…but God said love one another…You say I can forgive but not forget…but God said forgive them “until” you forget (Matthew 18:22)…You go silent when memories of the past run through your mind…but God said old things have passed away…now all things (if you let them) are becoming new….let go of the past…its over, it happened, it wont change…but you can….Now get out of your head and let people see your heart. Pull up the anchor thats holding you from living life to the fullest and set sail into what God has for you and all the meaningful relationships that go with it…Be blessed!
