Seasons of Change (Somethings happening on the Inside of Me)

It is said that the only thing in life that is constant is change. Our bodies, occupations, and outlook on life as a whole can fluctuate as rapid as the heartbeat of a sprinter or as slow as watching a tree grow…and so are the seasons and times in our lives when God is the catalyst for those adjustments…and as you may know WHEN God makes changes its always for the better even when the process can be difficult.

I am reminded of the scripture from Isaiah 64:8 which says, O Lord,
You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all we are the work of Your hand. This means that when WE say lord change me and rearrange me, we must be ready for what will soon transpire…to be taken as unformed, dusty, wet clay and tossed on the potters wheel…spinning, molding, squeezing and constant shaping…and At times feeling as if you have been through enough of the process only to realize that the refiners fire is yet to come…I’ve been there, and …I can hear you right now saying Lord..I wanted change BUT… is all this necessary, is all of the pain, anguish, rejection, financial woes and family issues warranted? Is all of the betrayal, and dryness of the wilderness justified?…well the answer is YES, because in the place where God is taking you, impurities must be burned of…inconsistencies must be corrected and character must fortified in order to hold the blessing that he is going to put inside of you.

So take heart dear child…because soon the potter’s wheel will stop spinning, and the Lord Himself will come with glaze and paints of many colors, ready to cover you and adorn you as a true vessel for all the world to see…you will be lifted and placed into the right position …not only as something to be seen but to be filled with valuable substance that can be poured into others
